Using a community-based service approach to reach participants where they are – FLIPANY provides local organizations with custom-designed opportunities to enhance their existing services. FLIPANY works hand-in-hand with these local organizations, and the populations they serve, to evaluate needs, design evidence-based solutions, and implement change. These value-added individual or group-based wellness solutions include direct nutrition education, physical activity programming, health promotion, and intervention strategies. This programming is provided on-site at locations such as early childcare centers, schools, community centers, parks and recreation programs, medical centers, and other partner sites. Working together, FLIPANY and over 600 partner organizations strive to create healthier South Florida communities.
