Physical activity is important for children. It helps keep them at a healthy weight, preventing many health problems such as diabetes that can come with being overweight. FLIPANY encourages families, schools, and other children’s organizations to provide opportunities for children to be physically active for at least one hour a day.

Earn-A-Bike is a hands-on learning and earning program for youth ages 10-17. Over the course of 8 sessions, participants learn the basics of bike repair and maintenance as well as safe riding on the roads.

FLIPANY’s Spring Break Adventure Camp gives access to Mountain Biking; Life Skills, Healthy Cooking and Nutrition Education to underprivileged kids ages 12 to 16.
FLIPANY’s fitness instructors use the evidence-based CATCH program to teach youth and adult classes.
FLIPANY’s fitness instructors work with the kids and teens in the 12-week running sessions to encourage them to develop a healthier lifestyle.
