Florida -FAITC in the Classroom

Florida Ag in the Class integrates science with agricultural concepts, nutrition, school gardens, and related agricultural careers. Student support the garden beds, plant produce, learn plant and soil biology, and human nutrition.  The class brings the lessons to life by maintain garden ecosystem, hosting cooking activities, and inviting professionals in the agricultural sectors, such as Urban Farmers, beekeepers, Ag Engineers, etc.   FLIPANY will collect a pre and post-survey that measures participants competencies in nutrition, and USDA MyPlate recommendations, plant and vegetable anatomy, and composting.
