Wellness Initiatives

FLIPANY’s wellness initiatives engage the community to participate in more physical activities, increase their knowledge about nutrition and healthy food choices, establish better eating habits, and work to create a culture of health and wellness in their own community. These wellness initiatives include evidence-based interventions such as Soccer for Success, CATCH (Coordinated Approach To Child Health), Health Students Healthy Communities, Worksite Wellness programs, and a variety of other activities all focused on providing the members of our South Florida communities with the tools they need to lead longer healthier lives.

Our Partners

Thank you to our generous sponsors who care about health and wellness programs and the prevention of hunger and obesity in our community.

Create A Healthier Community

Using a community-based service approach to reach participants where they are – FLIPANY provides local organizations with custom-designed opportunities to enhance their existing services. FLIPANY works hand-in-hand with these local organizations, and the populations they serve, to evaluate needs, design evidence-based solutions, and implement change. These value-added individual or group-based wellness solutions include direct nutrition education, physical activity programming, health promotion, and intervention strategies. This programming is provided on-site at locations such as early childcare centers, schools, community centers, parks and recreation programs, medical centers, and other partner sites. Working together, FLIPANY and over 600 partner organizations strive to create healthier South Florida communities.
